Language Blocks Game:

A game to encourage discussion with an adult or peer. The images are humorous to inspire funny sentences. The game has a Minecraft inspired theme to hook their interest.
Are you supporting children with developmental language delay? This is a quick and fun game to reinforce the concept of living and non-living things.
With simplified language and exciting pictures chosen to hold their interest. Use with large groups on the whiteboard or small intervention gorups/ 1:1 on an Ipad. Print off pictures to send home so parents/ carers can continue the conversation. Make into a book to keep in class so it can be referred back to regularly.
Also ideal for naming some everyday objects and animals plus naming some verbs. Lots of ways to tailor the game to specific needs.
